On Wednesday the 25th year 4B read some inspirational stories about some very clever people that have cerebral palsy. It is amazing how people that have this disability can still be capable of doing anything that we can do.
Grade 4 are reading a book about a little girl named Melody who suffers every day from Cerebral Palsy.
Cerebral Palsy is very bad disease that you are born with. It is not contagious. The disability is spastic or retarded, it can lead to muscle spasms and can effect the brain. It will never get any worse than what it is. It will cause a lot weakness in the body.
Cerebral Palsy is a terrible disability, could you imagine not being able to do any of your personnel needs and not many friends because you can not do the easiest things in life. All of that to them would be so hard. Getting dressed wouldn’t be as easy as we do it. You can not express you personality because you don’t have your own voice, and having to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of your life would be dreadful.
